Good reads from around the internet for the week of April 10, 2016. Travel, fitness, workouts, science, recipes & food.

I wanted to go on the first hike of the year yesterday, so we picked a short trail near town and headed out around noon….yeah, that was not happening. I wish I had taken a picture of the 100+ cars parked near the trailhead. Plan B was a walk around the dog park – it’s actually in the foothills near the trail we originally planned for, so we still got the views below. The “real” hike will have to wait for later this week though. The good reads are still here today – enjoy!
